The Business Excellence Dinner, is one of the major recognition events that The Chamber holds each year.
The Business Excellence Dinner is designed to draw attention to the importance of outstanding achievement within the business community. The highlights of the dinner include the presentation of the "Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Excellence," and an address from a noted speaker.
The 2008 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Excellence is R. Lee Hite, President and CEO of the Hite Company. Hite becomes the seventh recipient of the award.
Past recipients include Ernie Wissinger (2002), G. William Ward (2003), Stephen Sheetz (2004), Donald Devorris (2005), Willard Campbell (2006) and John Wolf (2007).
If you would like to nominate someone for The Chamber's Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Excellence, you may do so by downloading a nomination form, completing it, and returning it to The Chamber, no later than Friday, February 22nd. The 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Excellence will be held June 2nd, 2008.
