Buy The Alleghenies is an Initiative that promotes local business and helps to keep spending local. As a Chamber Member, your business will be among those who are listed in this regional online purchasing directory.
Blair County Township/City Maps are available for purchase at The
Chamber office. They feature a detailed map of the cities of Altoona and
Hollidaysburg and also provide maps of surrounding townships. Chamber maps are
free for Chamber Members up to quantities of 10. Each map over this quantity
will be $2 each. Maps for non-members cost $5 each. PDF versions of area maps

Blair Business Mirror is a tabloid newspaper published monthly by The Chamber in cooperation with the Altoona Mirror. The publication features Chamber news, stories on Chamber Members and upcoming events. The Business Mirror is distributed to 36,000 homes in Blair County. Members can advertise in the Blair Business Mirror at a 5% discounted rate.
Bulk Mailing is a program whereby The Chamber will allow members to use its Bulk Mailing Permit at no cost beyond what is ordinarily charged for bulk mail. To find out how to access this benefit, contact Cindy Cessna at 943-8151 or E-mail her at ccessna@blairchamber.com.

Chamber Choice is a health insurance plan offered through the Chambers of Commerce Services Corporation to businesses of any size. Plans are administered through Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Chamber Foundation is a 501-C3 foundation created by The Chamber to offer tax advantages to business or individuals willing to make contributions to any of the educational programs currently operated or endorsed by The Chamber. At the present time, those programs include Leadership Blair County (adult), Leadership Blair County Youth, BASICS and Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week.
The Chamber Membership Directory is published annually and offers wide exposure. It is distributed to all the Chamber Member businesses, placed in all Blair County Hotel rooms to assist visitors, mailed in relocation packets, and is made available to outside businesses desiring to conduct business with Chamber Members. The directory includes member businesses listed alphabetically and categorically to make your business more visible to those seeking information.
The Chamber Minute is a radio spot airing during drive time (7:40 and 8:20 a.m.) each Monday, Wednesday and Friday on WALY 103.9 FM and WFBG 1290 AM. The Chamber Minute provides The Chamber the opportunity to promote upcoming events, recognize the accomplishments of members or pass on information vital to growing businesses. The Chamber Minute is a collaborative effort of The Chamber and Forever Broadcasting.

"Member 2 Member" is a discount and benefits program for Chamber Members. Members can post offers featuring their products and services that can be redeemed by Chamber Members. Click for more information.
Networking Opportunities: The Chamber offers both annual events and regular monthly programs to encourage and assist our members to network. (Link to calendar) Upcoming events.
Privilege Pages are 8 1/2 by 11 inch inserts available for purchase by Chamber Members to promote products, services or programs. These pages are inserted in the Blair Business Mirror, a tabloid newspaper published monthly by The Chamber in cooperation with the Altoona Mirror.
Referrals: Only Chamber Member Businesses are referred to people who call The Chamber looking for products and services.
Ribbon Cuttings: Chamber Ribbon cuttings are available at no cost to Members.
